Where is CASA located?

We have three locations:

  • Holcomb Building, Suite 2 - Geneseo on the SUNY Campus
  • 141-143 Main Street - Dansville
  • 571 St. Joseph's Blvd. Suite 102 - Elmira

What can CASA do for me?

We offer prevention, intervention, and outpatient treatment services to persons who are seeking information on substance abuse and support or treatment to help overcome their substance abuse issues.

How much do your services cost?

We accept most insurances and clients pay their normal co-pay. A sliding fee is available for those without insurance. Call for more information.

Who funds CASA?

CASA is a private, non-profit agency funded by fees for services, the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), and donations from Livingston County and United Way, private donors and grants.

Who provides the counseling at CASA? What are their qualifications?

Most counselors are certified by New York State as Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselors. All counseling and treatment is confidential and governed by Federal Confidentiality laws.

 

 

What can I expect with my first visit to CASA?

You will participate in an evaluation process to determine your need for CASA's services.

Does CASA provide family counseling?

Yes, CASA provides individual and group counseling, along with support groups, preventive education and family counseling.

When was CASA created?

CASA opened its doors in 1975 with one counselor to combat alcohol and substance abuse in Livingston County.
