Inhalants

What are inhalants? Glue, paint thinner, and just about anything in an aerosol can.

Slang: whippets, snappers, moon gas, poor mans pot, huffing, sniffing

Short-term effects: slurred speech, lack of coordination, dizziness, hallucinations, headaches, nausea, vomiting, as well as effects from the chemicals contained in the product being abused

Long-term effects: hypoxia (especially in brain cells), nerve damage, heart failure, loss of consciousnes
