Every time I hear a news report about yet another alcohol-related teen death, I want to cry. I wonder when we as parents will stop burying our heads in the sand about our children. I'm a parent, I know it's hard to keep tabs on your teenage children, but you just have to. If you are not talking to your children about drug abuse - and that includes alcohol - you are taking an enormous risk.

The prevention programs at Livingston County Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse provide educational and counseling services to children of all ages. But we cannot do this without YOUR help.
